Medow Mafia Ops

Private software that runs one creator's own YouTube business.

Medow Mafia Ops is a set of automation programs built and operated by Sammy Medows, an independent full-time video creator and live streamer trading as Medow Mafia. It runs on his own computers and manages his own YouTube channels.

It is not a commercial product. It is not offered to the public, it has no sign-up, and it has no users other than its operator.

What it does

  1. Revenue reporting. Reads the daily earnings YouTube reports for his own channels, so he can see current income for his own accounting and planning.
  2. Channel statistics. Records daily audience and performance figures for his own channels into his own spreadsheet, giving him an accurate long-term record.
  3. Video review and publishing. Reads and updates video and comment information on his own channels as part of his editing and publishing workflow, and keeps a private study playlist of other creators' videos in order.
  4. Working file handling. Creates and updates files it has itself created in his Google Drive, used as storage for the above.
  5. Bookkeeping. Connects to his own QuickBooks Online company, reads its transactions and reports, suggests which account each one belongs in and whether it is deductible against his own business, and writes back only the categories he has confirmed.

Every account it connects to belongs to Sammy Medows. Data it retrieves stays on hardware he owns, is never sold or shared with anyone, and is never used for advertising or to train any model.

Bookkeeping is not tax advice

The bookkeeping half of this application forms its opinions from a rule set, not from a licensed accountant. Every figure it produces is reviewed by Sammy Medows' own accountant before it is relied on or filed. It is offered to nobody, and no second company can be connected to it.

Privacy

How this application handles Google user data and QuickBooks data is set out in full in the privacy policy.
